ASL TO is the local health authority of the city of Turin, in the northwest of Italy. It fills the public function of promoting and protecting the health of the inhabitants of Turin (around 890.000 individuals) and of the community, through activities of promotion, prevention and treatment, in order to maintain a high level of quality of life for all the citizens. The local health authority operates with the utmost respect for the dignity of the human person and the need for health and with fairness in ensuring the accessibility to health services.
